Automotive Institute
WCI has teamed up again with McCown Gordon to erect the new Automotive Technology building for Metropolitan Community Colleges' Longview Campus. This nearly 37,000sq./ft. building was supplied by American Building Company and will be wrapped in state of the art, insulated metal panels and trims provided by MetlSpan.
The roof system utilizes MetlSpans' 4 inch insulated CFR42 standing seam roof panels, while the exterior walls will be wrapped in 3 inch CF42 insulated metal panels. Both the roof and wall panels are painted NBG Pearl Grey, featuring Stucco Textured panels under the canopy along the main facade of the building. The interior shop area of the building will get lined with Polar White R-Panels.
Once completed, this building will offer specialized programs, double the square footage for automotive programming and connect to the existing high technology automotive building.
